We Are Sharing Hope SC (SHSC), South Carolina’s federally designated Organ Procurement Organization (OPO), celebrated its 20th Annual Race for Life on March 29.

The organization’s largest event and fundraiser was held on Folly Beach and brought together 579 participants, bringing awareness to the donation mission and celebrating the gift of life. Community members, transplant recipients, donor families and supporters walked and ran side by side to honor legacies and promote organ, eye and tissue donation and the impact it has on so many.
