“Some people leave behind memories. Others leave behind a legacy. My son, Aarron ‘Gage’ Hall, left both,” shared Stephanie Hall, mother of donor hero Gage.  
 
“To those who knew Gage, he was the master of sarcasm. He could make you laugh with a perfectly timed comment and tease you just enough to keep you smiling. Beneath that quick wit was a heart bigger than most people ever knew. He was the kind of person who would give without expecting anything in return. His generosity wasn’t something he put on display; it was simply who he was. 
 
Music was the heartbeat of Gage’s life. He was an incredibly gifted drummer with a natural talent that amazed everyone who heard him play. Whether he was behind a drum set or simply tapping out rhythms, music flowed through him effortlessly. He also had an amazing singing voice that would stop people in their tracks. There was something special about hearing Gage sing. It wasn’t just his talent, but the emotion and heart he poured into every note. Music wasn’t simply something he enjoyed; it was one of the ways he shared himself with the world. Gage was also an exceptional chef. He had a passion for cooking and a remarkable ability to create meals that brought people together. Whether through music or food, he had a way of making people feel seen, loved and cared for. 
    
On June 14, 2026, my world changed forever when Gage died in an accidental shooting. As a mother, there are no words that can fully describe that kind of loss. It is a pain that changes you forever. Yet, even in our darkest moment, Gage’s generous heart continued to give. 
 
Through organ donation, his heart, kidneys and liver were donated, offering hope and life to people we may never meet. That thought has become one of the greatest comforts our family carries. Even after his earthly life ended, Gage was still helping others. That is exactly the kind of person he was. 
 
Our faith has carried us through unimaginable sorrow. I believe with all my heart that Gage is with the Lord, rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with his father in a place where there is no more pain, no more tears and no more death. While my heart longs for the day I can hold him again, I find peace in God’s promise that this goodbye is not forever. 
 
If Gage’s story can inspire even one person to register as an organ donor, then his legacy continues to grow. One decision has the power to save multiple lives and give grieving families the incredible gift of knowing that love can continue long after loss. Gage lived with a generous heart. He filled our lives with laughter, music and love. His drumbeats may have fallen silent here on earth, but I imagine Heaven echoing with the sound of them now. His beautiful voice joining the angels in songs of praise. I couldn’t be more proud to be his mother. 
 
His story is not only one of heartbreaking loss. It is a story of love, generosity, extraordinary talent, unwavering faith and hope; a reminder that even in our darkest moments, light can still shine through. Because of Gage, someone else’s tomorrow became possible. That is a legacy that will live forever.”
