“Stormi was born on February 27, 1987, on a rainy day. I can remember it like it just happened,” said Stormi’s mother, Ester.  

“Stormi was my only girl, and she was a ‘storm’. She was a very intelligent student, did well in school and loved to play basketball and soccer. Stormi has always aspired to be a leader, which is why she wanted to join the military. In 2007, she enlisted in the United States Army to serve her country. She cared so much for others, even when she decided to be a donor and donate her organs to help people she would never meet. I miss her every day, but her legacy lives on through the gift of life she gave to help others.”
