Terry Shunamon

Donor Hero

“My husband, Terry, gave in every aspect of his life. At the time of his death, it only seemed fitting to allow him to continue his giving spirit by helping others in need through donation,” shared donor wife Aime.

“Terry enjoyed life in every way imaginable. He loved being outdoors, riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and off-roading. We loved to watch the sunrise together, no matter where we were in our adventures. Terry used to always say, ‘You never know what’s out there until you see it for yourself.’ He enjoyed 18 years with the Missouri Department of Transportation, where he ensured the safety of the traveling public by performing bridge inspections and eventually became a diving bridge inspector. He was always there to lend a helping hand, be a shoulder to cry on, or make an inappropriate joke to lighten the mood. While he is greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, we find comfort in knowing he helped provide life to those in need.”
